To Truly Want Something... Chocolate🍫
"When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it" ~ The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Read that quote again
"If you desire something, I mean truly want something, all the world conspires to make it happen" ~ Paulo Coelho (Remixed by me)
The first time I heard the quote it hit me. I read it in a book called "The Alchemist" (Very amazing book btw)
But my first thought was ...(Whatever this emoji is in words), cause I WANT A MILLION DOLLARS RIGHT NOW!! and i don't see the whole world conspiring to giving it to me, infact it is taking the little i have.
Then a story came to my head...
A school teacher holds up a chocolate bar and asked the class "Who wants this chocolate?"
Everyone in the class raised up thier hands.
Then there was this girl in front of the class at the edge of her seat shouting "Me! Me! Teacher give me!" almost jumping out her seat, insisting the teacher gives her the chocolate.
But before the teacher could even say anything, A boy jumped from the back of the class and ran so fast pushing every single one of his classmates out of his way, snatched the chocolate out of the teacher's hands and ate it right there and then, he even went on to lick the wrap in front of the class !!!.
Though the teacher and his classmates were angry that he snatched it and even pushed some of them away, they just left it for him.
The teacher even gave him another one, and some of his classmates shared thier own snacks with him out of pity.
My question is "Who really wanted that chocolate bar ?"
All of them did !, cause all of them raised their hands for it.
Obviously that girl wanted it more, she was shouting "Me! Me! Teacher give me!...", I'm pretty sure the teacher would have given it to her, with the way she was doing.
But clearly the one who wanted it the most was the one who got it.
The one who wanted it so badly that he couldn't hold himself back, he couldn't risk the chance of him not being picked.
He couldn't let shame or the people in his way stop him, so he went all out for the chocolate bar.
And he got it.
He got even far more than he had hoped for...
I guess that's what Paulo Coelho was trying to explain is that...
There are levels to this thing.
There are people who just say they want something, there are those who want to so bad they act, ask, even demand that it should be given to them.
Then there are those who want something so bad they can't even wait for permission, they act, they risk everything, they persist, and move.
When you want something that bad, it doesn't stop with you, the teacher is moved too, the classmates, all the world, the entire universe is moved to conspire in helping you achieve it.
You just have to want it badly enough, prove to the world that you do and even the impossible can become possible.
I believe this 100% now. Infact I have lived it on more than one occasion myself.
But I must say...
"Be careful what you wish for !"
Do with this information whatever you please..
Till we meet again... Chao !!!
